Centre In the Square, Tim Hortons and Good Foundation
team up to provide the Community Ticket Program
Centre In The Square and Tim Hortons have partnered to provide community services and charitable organizations in Waterloo Region with access to live theatre.
The Tim Hortons Community Ticket Program will see hundreds of individuals in our community attending various shows at Centre In The Square throughout the 2011/2012 season.
Typically, the program focuses on helping children, families and individuals that would not otherwise have the opportunity or the funding to share in a singular, unforgettable moment in live performance.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, foundations and corporations, the Community Ticket Program has been in place at The Centre since 2005. This is the first year that the program has a title sponsor, as well as a supporting sponsor, The Good Foundation.
“We are thrilled to be working with such a community-minded organization as Tim Hortons. The franchise owners practice a philosophy of giving back to the communities in which they operate, and we are excited to work with them to increase access to the arts in our region,” said Bill Nuhn, Interim General Manager at Centre In The Square.
“Having the support of The Good Foundation is also extremely important to us. They are respected community builders who believe in enriching the communities where their members reside, something that we also work to achieve and resounds strongly with us.”
To celebrate the launch of the Tim Hortons Community Ticket Program, and to recognize the contributions of Tim Hortons and The Good Foundation, a reception was held at Centre In The Square on Thursday, December 22, 2011, 10:00am – 11:00am in the Atrium Lobby.
